- A stiff tread with very little void, on a soft compound made for warm pavement. Once it's warm it'll hold a corner harder and stop shorter than any all season. It's what a WRX, a GR86 or an M3 that gets driven hard should be on, and it's where every track day and autocross setup starts.
- What do you give up with performance summer tires?
- Cold weather is what you give up. Below freezing the compound hardens and the grip goes with it, and it can't see snow at all, so it's a warm season set or a second set. Tread life is the shortest of any type, which is what the grip costs you.
