Avant Garde wheels and rims

19 products

If you've seen an M3 with a directional split five spoke, you've seen the M580R. It ships as left and right sets, so the spokes sweep the same way on both sides of the car. It's flow formed, using a rim rolling process Avant Garde calls A.R.T.

About Avant Garde wheels and rims

Want mesh instead? The M520R goes big, and it's drilled for enough patterns to fit a Mustang or a Cayenne. Shopping for an older BMW? The M359 is the cast one in 5x120, and it's cheaper for it. The rest of the drillings lean BMW and Mercedes.

Ask for satin black if you want it quiet and brushed bronze if you don't. There's an M580R Race in a track offset with its own page. We read the caliper on every M580R set, because those directional spokes sit close on the M compound brakes and there's no fixing that later.

Common questions

Is the Avant Garde M580R flow formed
Yes, and the barrel gets spun under rollers after casting, which Avant Garde calls A.R.T. The M520R and the M615 get the same treatment. The M359 is a conventional casting, and it's cheaper for that reason. The flow formed ones are worth the difference if you care about how the car rides.
Does the Avant Garde M580R fit a G80 M3
Yes, and it's one of the wheels you see most on those cars, usually staggered. Say so if it's lowered, because the fender is what changes first when you drop it.
