Subaru WRX wheels and rims

975 designs fit a 2002+ Subaru WRX at stock height. Pick your year and trim and the list gets exact.

Looking for wheels for your WRX? There's a lot that fits, and the arch is the reason. You've got room for a wider wheel and a fatter tire at a modest drop, which is why the same spec keeps showing up in build threads. Tell us the year, the trim and how the car sits, and you'll only see sets that clear.

The pattern moved twice, and that's what burns people on used wheels. Early cars are 5x100. The STI switched to 5x114.3 first and the WRX followed later, so an older set won't always bolt to a newer car. They all share a 56.1 mm hub, small enough that rings come up on nearly every design. STI and TR cars add a Brembo front, so the trim matters as much as the year.

Keep it square. The center differential wants four tires the same diameter, and a mismatch loads it every mile you drive. That's why track and rallycross owners stay near the factory diameter too. Want the rear to look wider? Drop the offset on a square set and you get there without the drivetrain paying for it.

Common questions

Will 18x9.5 +38 fit a WRX
Tell us how the car sits and you'll get the answer for your exact VA or VB. A 9.5 is a popular width here, and the drop is what decides whether it tucks or rubs. Pick the year, trim and ride height up top and the list keeps only the sets that clear.
What bolt pattern is a 2016 WRX
It's 5x114.3, same as the STI. Older cars are 5x100, so a used set off a GR hatch won't bolt on, and that one catches people out every week. The hub's small at 56.1 mm, so nearly every aftermarket wheel wants a ring with it.
Can I run a staggered setup on a WRX
No, keep it square. There's a center differential in there, and different diameters front to rear load it constantly. Same wheel and tire at all four corners, rotated on schedule. If you want the rear to look wider, drop the offset on a square set instead.
Do I need hub rings for a WRX
Almost always. The hub's 56.1 mm and most wheels are drilled bigger, so the ring fills that gap and centers the wheel. Skip it and the lugs end up doing the centering, and that's where the highway shake comes from. Order rings sized to the wheel when you order the set.
