17x7.5 Wheels and Rims

About 17x7.5 Wheels and Rims

Seven and a half is stock width on a Civic Si or a GTI, so it goes on with no fender work at all. Offset is what decides where a 17x7.5 ends up. The same wheel tucks at one offset and sits flush at another, and it's the caliper behind it that sets the floor.

Common questions

What is a 17x7.5 wheel for?

It's what a Civic Si or a GTI left the factory on, so there's no fender work to do.

What tire fits a 17x7.5 wheel?

A 225 is the usual starting point on this width, and plenty of people go wider than that. Add tires to a set and we'll size them to the wheel and to your car, then it ships mounted and balanced.

What offset do I need on a 17x7.5?

It depends on the car. A higher offset tucks the wheel in, a lower one moves it out toward the fender. Tell us what you drive and you'll see which offsets clear, stock or aggressive.

Will 17x7.5 wheels fit your car without rolling the fenders?

It comes down to the offset you pick and to your car. Tell us the year, make and model and you'll get a straight answer for yours, stock or aggressive.
