1997-2009 Subaru Legacy Exhaust Systems

About 1997-2009 Subaru Legacy Exhaust Systems

Looking for exhaust systems for your Subaru Legacy? That's all that's here, so nothing below is going to waste your time. Tell us the year and the trim and you'll see only what fits yours, back to 1997. It comes down to the year, engine, drivetrain and body, which is what the fit check is looking at.

You're here for the sound, so let's start there. An axle back swaps the muffler and tips, goes on in an hour and changes tone more than volume. A cat back takes everything behind the converter, mid pipe and resonator included, so it's louder, lighter and a bigger job. Both stay legal everywhere because the catalyst doesn't move. Downpipes replace it and they're off road only.

Common questions

Will these exhaust systems fit my Subaru Legacy?

Each one of these was made for it, so you aren't sorting past parts for somebody else's car. Tell us the year and the trim and you'll see only the systems that fit yours, which is usually a shorter list than people expect.

Which brands make exhaust systems for the Subaru Legacy?

Most of what's here for it is HKS. You'll find the rest in the brand row further down, so you can go straight to a name you already trust.

What happens if a system doesn't fit my Legacy?

We come get it. If we recommended it and it doesn't fit an unmodified car, we arrange the pickup and you get your money back in full. Anything ready to order is out the door in 2 to 7 days.
