Ksport suspension parts

Cross shopping against BC Racing? Ksport is the other half of that conversation, and the Kontrol Pro is the kit. It's a monotube with 36 levels of damping. The lower mounts are threaded, so your drop doesn't eat shock travel, and the strut cars get camber plates.

About Ksport suspension parts

Ksport's US operation runs out of Arizona, which puts it in our backyard. One thing to know: the damper body is electroplated steel rather than stainless, so if you park it through a salted winter, rinse it and it'll be fine. The rates lean street, and there are stiffer springs for a track car.

Every kit is built for one car and ships with the rates and the height range Ksport publishes for it. Ordering wheels at the same time? Say it's lowered in the fit check, because this range goes well past where a stock fender clears a wide wheel.

Common questions

Ksport Kontrol Pro or BC Racing BR
They're close enough that it usually comes down to which one exists for your car. Both are monotube, both adjust height on a threaded body, and both come with camber plates on strut cars. The Kontrol Pro gives you more damping clicks. The BR gives you the Swift spring and Extreme Low options.
Are Ksport coilovers good for daily driving
Yes, with the damping set in the softer third. The rates Ksport picks per car are street rates, so at a soft setting most cars ride firmer than stock without being punishing. Full stiff is a track setting. The kit isn't what makes a daily ride badly anyway. The drop is, so keep the height sane.
