H&R suspension parts

H&R is the other German spring, built in Lennestadt, and the Sport Spring is what you'd cross shop against an Eibach Pro Kit. The drop's about the same. It's a linear rate rather than a progressive one, so you'll feel a bit more of the road. Want it lower? Super Sport goes further.

About H&R suspension parts

Every H&R spring carries a TUV approval, which means the rate and the drop were signed off for that exact car. They're cold wound from chrome silicon steel and powder coated, and they don't sag. Only want half the fender gap gone? That's what the OE Sport line is for, and plenty of people stop there.

H&R and Eibach both build for the same German platforms, so it usually comes down to the drop you want and the ride you'll put up with. Tell us your car and you'll see the kits built for it with the published front and rear drop, and the fit check reads your wheels against that drop.

Common questions

H&R Sport Springs vs Eibach Pro Kit
Both take about an inch out on stock dampers, so you're choosing on ride rather than on drop. The H&R is a linear rate and it rides a little firmer. The Eibach is progressive and it stays closer to stock, which matters if somebody else drives your car. On a BMW the H&R usually sits a touch lower.
Are H&R springs TUV approved
Yes, for the exact car they're built for, and that means the rate, the drop and the fit to your stock damper were all signed off. It's why they're legal on a registered car in Germany. More usefully for you, it's a decent proxy for the thing you actually care about, which is that they don't sag after a year.
