Headlight assemblies are the biggest visual change you can make to the front of a car without touching the body, and the biggest driving upgrade if your car still runs halogen reflectors. This section splits into headlights, tail lights, and fog, DRL and signal lights. Each listing is tied to a year range because lighting changes with every facelift, and a housing for one year rarely fits the next bumper even when the car looks the same from the curb.
The choice is usually a full assembly against a bulb swap. Assemblies from Morimoto, which we carry, come with a projector cut off, a real beam pattern and a plug that meets the factory connector. LED bulbs dropped into a halogen reflector scatter light and blind oncoming traffic, so we carry very few of them. Tail lights and signals are simpler, though LED signals draw less current and trigger hyperflash on many cars until a resistor or a compatible flasher goes in.
Some makes fight new lights. Late model Dodge, Ford and BMW bodies monitor the bulb circuits and throw a warning when the load drops, so each listing notes whether an anti flicker harness or a CANbus resistor is included. Aim the headlights after installing them. A projector set high is worse than the halogen it replaced.
