Still running halogen reflectors? Then headlights are the biggest change on this page, at night and at the curb both. Underneath you'll find headlights, tail lights, and the fog, DRL and signal section. Every listing is pinned to a year range, because a facelift moves the mounting tabs even when the car looks identical from ten feet away.

The real choice is an assembly against a bulb. A Morimoto housing brings its own projector, a clean cut off and a plug that meets the factory connector. An LED bulb dropped into a halogen reflector throws light everywhere it shouldn't, which is why we carry almost none of them. Whatever you fit, aim it. A projector sitting high is worse than the halogen it replaced.

Some cars fight new lights. Late model Dodge and Ford bodies watch the bulb circuit and complain when the load drops, and BMW does the same. Each listing notes whether an anti flicker harness or a resistor is in the box. LED signals draw less current than the bulb they replace, and that's what sets off the fast flash until you fix it.

Common questions

Are aftermarket LED headlights legal

A complete assembly with a DOT mark on the lens is. What fails an inspection is an LED bulb sitting in a housing built around a filament, because the beam pattern falls apart and the light lands in oncoming eyes. The Morimoto housings we carry are DOT compliant, and you'll see that called out per part.

Why are my signals flashing fast

Your car thinks a bulb died. An LED pulls less current than the filament it replaced, and most cars use that current drop to spot a failure, so the flasher speeds up to warn you. A load resistor across the circuit or an LED rated flasher relay sorts it out. Some assemblies sort it inside the housing, so you won't need anything extra.

Will these fit my trim

Only when the listing names your trim. The connector and the tabs change between the halogen and factory LED versions of the same car, even in the same model year. Save your car and you'll only see housings cut for what you drive. If an adapter harness is needed, we say whether it ships in the box.
