Want a deep V8 note without paying Borla money? That's why MagnaFlow ends up on so many Chargers. The Street Series is the everyday kit and it stays mellow at cruise. The Competition uses a straight through muffler and it's loud. Touring is the quietest of the three.

About Magnaflow performance parts

It's built in Oceanside, California, and every system is stainless with a polished or a black tip. Having something custom made instead? The universal mufflers and the direct fit catalytic converters are here too, and they're where a lot of shops start.

Every kit is built for one car and engine. On a Mustang or a Charger the axle back gets you most of the sound for less money. On a turbo four the cat back is where you'll actually hear the difference, so spend accordingly.

Common questions

What is the difference between MagnaFlow Street Series and Competition Series
The muffler, and therefore the volume. Street Series uses a chambered muffler for a mellow tone that stays quiet at cruise. Competition uses a straight through one and it's aggressive under throttle and noticeable on the highway. Touring is the quietest. Pick by how loud you want it.
MagnaFlow or Borla for a Charger
Take the Borla if you want it louder and the MagnaFlow if you want to spend less. That's most of the decision right there. Both are stainless, both come in three sound levels, and both carry a long warranty. Listen to a clip of the ATAK before you commit, because it's the loudest thing in this conversation.
