HKS performance parts

939 products

HKS built its name in Fujinomiya on turbo kits for the Supra, the GT-R and the Evo, and it's still selling the parts those cars run. The Hi Power exhaust is what people search, a stainless cat back with a big single tip and a note that suits a turbo car. Got to commute in it? Take the Legamax instead.

About HKS performance parts

Hipermax is the coilover, height and damping adjustable, and it's built for the Japanese cars first. On the engine side, the Super SQV is the blow off valve every turbo owner can identify by sound. HKS still builds supercharger and turbo kits for the GR86, which is more than you'd expect this far into its life.

One thing to know before you start searching. HKS builds for the Japanese market first and the US fitments follow, so the catalog runs deep on Toyota and Subaru and thin on everything else. If your car isn't on that list, we'll say so rather than sell you something that nearly fits.

Common questions

Is the HKS Hi Power exhaust loud
Yes, and it's meant to be. Straight through stainless with a big single tip, so on a turbo car it's loud under boost with some drone at cruise. That's the sound of a Japanese tuner car from the 2000s and it's the entire point. Want the brand and a quieter car? Buy the Legamax.
Does HKS make a turbo kit for the GR86
Yes, both a supercharger kit and a turbo kit, and they're not new either, since HKS built them for the first generation 86. Each one comes with the piping, the intercooler and the hardware, and neither one runs right without a tune. Budget for the tune when you budget for the kit.
